Apple Phirni Recipe

Kheer is a type of pudding from the Indian subcontinent, made by boiling milk, sugar, and rice. The recipe includes desiccated coconut for flavor as well as cardamom or raisins for additional sweetness.

Kheer is a dish that's been around for over 2,000 years and has remained the staple of Indian sweets since ancient times. People believe in its ability to purify one’s karma before eating and it is typically served at Hindu temples as Prasada -a symbol of divine blessing given by God/Brahma himself-to devotees after their performance or worship rituals are complete.
