Ingredients
  • 500 grams Potato (Boiled, Peeled and Diced into cubes)
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Urad Dal
  • 1 Turmeric Powder
  • 1 Red Chilli Powder
  • Salt (to taste)
  • 6-8 Curry Leaves
  • 2 Green Chillies (slit the chillies into two halfs)
Instructions
    Method
  1. Heat oil in a kadai.

  2. Add mustard seeds. When it splutters add curry leaves, urid dal, green chili turmeric powder and fry for a minute.

  3. Add potato pieces, salt and mix well.

  4. Add red chili powder, mix well and simmer the stove and let it fry in slow flame.

  5. If it becomes too dry add little oil if necessary.

  6. When it is cooked and fried well remove and serve with rice.
