The most popular of which is "Aloo Bonda" (potato bondas) as well as region-specific variants including potatoes replaced by grated pineapple or paneer. But this time we will add Sprouts too in the Bonda aka Bread Roll.

Description

Including sprouts in our diet is highly essential. So why not try out new and tasty recipes that contain sprouts. Anybody will like this snack as the stuffing prepared for these rolls has the tangy flavor of chaats. As it is a deep-fried snack, one can have it moderately. Paneer adds a rich taste to these rolls.

  • 1 cup Mixed Sprouts (Boiled)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Mint Leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chaat Masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin Powder
  • Salt (to taste)
  • 1/2 cup Cottage Cheese
  • 5 Bread Slices
  • Oil (for deep frying)

    Method
  1. Take sprouts, mint leaves in a mixer jar and grind without adding water. Mix chili powder, chaat masala, cumin powder, and salt to it.

  2. Grate paneer and mix to this. Meanwhile, heat oil for deep-frying.

  3. Cut the crusts of bread and discard them. Dip each slice in water and press gently between palms to remove water. Place 2 tsp of this mixture on each of the slices and close. Seal well.

  4. Fry these rolls in hot oil over a very low flame till brown. Take them on a tissue to remove excess oil. Serve hot with sauce.
