  1. Soak rice or two hours and drain the water.

  2. Dry in shade and crush it coarsely. Soak the saffron in 50 ml hot milk.

  3. Cook the rice and milk together on a slow flame

  4. Add the saffron milk to it.

  5. Puree the banana. Grate the peeled apple. Add the banana to the cooked mixture (this acts as a sweetener) and the grated apple (adds extra nutrition).

  6. Add cardamom powder, chill and serve.
